Ability to charge job seekers

I would like to be able to add "Featured" status to my Professional Profiles, so that they appear on the home page, along with the Featured Employers. But they need to be displayed on a separate line or something, so that it is clear which are the Featured Employers and which are the Featured Professional Profiles. And I would like to be able to charge Professional Profiles for this "Featured" status.

A monthly subscription option would be excellent; and this may sound hokey, but a gift certificate option for people who want to pay to help with a family member or friend's job search.

Like with employers would be great to offer multiple Products for job seekers. Can envision candidates purchasing multiple a la carte services or discounted bundles of Products (e.g. Access to Job Board, # Hours/Days Early Access to Jobs, Access to Hiring Managers / Job Posters, Access to Members-Only Blog Posts, AI-Recommended Jobs, etc). Also, like Employers reports would be ideal to then run reports on what Products candidates purchased.

This is a deal breaker for me. Need to seriously look at adding this.

If this feature was currently available I would be going with Jboard but unfortunately it isnt, so will have to go with a platform that does offer it.

Deepak I have now registered with JBoard and can not recommend them more. I initially went to Job Board Fire as they have the option to charge candidates but it was the worst decision of my life!!! Please do not go to them, functionality, backfilling (only happened twice in 4 months) and customer service is all a joke plus they are way more expensive.
Charging candidates is such an important functionality for me but I have a little work around I am using until this is available. I started off setting up a subscription in Stripe but have now changed to a one off registration fee instead. This way once paid, I approve their profile so they can apply to jobs. The subscription was a bit messy as you have to monitor when people subscribe and unsubscribe and then change their status. Just an idea you may want to consider as a short term solution.

Jonathan matta That is great , yes i am okay charging one time fee instead of subscription .Also i see the potential in this as i got to play around with it a little bit so could fit my needs. Do you mind sharing your job portal URL , so that i can see how you have set up the payments. I would like to replicate the same . appreciate the response .

Under Job Seekers there is a tab called Premium Access. The layout of the page is rubbish but once they add the functionality to edit custom pages (in process), I will update it.
I added a link at the bottom that redirects to the Stripe product I set up. Hopefully they will add charging candidates soon as it will allow much more functionality around this bt this works for me for now.

I must say good work with the portal , i saw it in the your tube demo as well . I am looking to build very similar . One question , if a user doesn't have premium access ,are you allowing him to still apply or free users just cannot apply to the jobs ?

Jonathan matta Thanks alot for help, would love to connect with you on facebook or twitter which you use . Just to gain some more insights.
My current job board is h1bvisahub.com which is on wordpress and i am using custom API to pull the jobs in , which is costing me quite and development costs are also quite high. My twitter and linkedin is @mehtasdeepak, please if we can connect.

Deepak free users can search jobs, create a profile and create job alerts, they just can not apply. When they click apply they are promoted to register.
Feel free to send me an email via the contact us page and I will connect with you. Your site looks great and a similar concept to Visa Jobs. I have a couple of suggestions that may help with your migration agent listings page.

Really think this should be made a priority. I'm seeing more & more boards doing this.

Would be great to have a paywall feature built on this to allow for seekers to see a certain amount of jobs before they need to subscribe.

Please. Please. Please.

Would be good to also build in some functionality around this. For instance, maybe paying job seekers stand out more to recruiters somehow, get access to jobs earlier, have ability to see contact info of job posters so that there is some added benefit for them paying.
